Add Support for Country Field Writebacks in Candidate-Based Chats

What's new?

The "Choose One Answer" question type in Candidate and Submission-based chat engagements can now be configured to write country information back to the Candidate record in the Bullhorn ATS.

Why does it matter?

For staffing firms recruiting across multiple countries, accurate country assignment is essential for routing candidates to regional teams and maintaining compliance. This enhancement ensures candidates are placed into the correct country-specific workflows immediately, reducing manual corrections and improving recruiter efficiency.

How do I enable this?

  1. Navigate to your Candidate or Submission-based chat engagement.

  2. Add a "Choose One Answer" question with the "Drop Down" display.

  3. Select Candidate Country in the "Write Back" field.

  4. Configure the dropdown menu with your list of countries.

  5. Save and activate the engagement.
